Full Table Listing

The pulsar data is broken into several different tables. The most important tables to note are the Headers table which stores the parameters of each beam (including the galactic and equatorial coordinates), the Candidates table which has the best candidates for pulsars, and the Pulses table which stores all single, giant pulse data.

Table	Description
ATNF_Pulsars	Known pulsar listing from the ATNF database.
Candidates	Pulsar candidates, i.e. fourier candidates from the periodicity search with signal-to-noise ratios above a certain threshold. Imported from *.cands files.
Candidates_all	Candidates all. Imported from *.cands.all files.
Candidates_plots	Pre-computed candidate folded pulse profiles. Imported from *.wav.gif files.
Candidates_profiles	The folded pulse profile for each periodic candidate. Imported from *.wav files.
Candidates_snr_dm	Candidates with snr vs. dm. Imported from *.snr_dm.cands files.
DM_lookup	The list of trial DM values used to dedisperse the raw data. Must join to this table to get the dispersion measure for Pulses_best and Pulses_sift. Imported from *.dmlist files.
Dynspec	Stores the time vs frequency plane for the duration of the observation. Imported from *.dynspec files.
Dynspec_clean_spectrum	Contains the average clean spectrum for the observation, i.e. after obvious interference spikes have been subtracted and all channels have been averaged over time. Imported from *.dynspec.clean.spectrum files.
Dynspec_norm_events	List of interference-like events that stick out in the time-frequency plane. Imported from *.dynspec.norm.events files.
Dynspec_plots	Pre-computed plots of dynamic spectra. Imported from dynspec*.gif files.
Dynspec_scale_factor	Contains as many lines as there are seconds in the observation. Imported from *.dynspec.scale.factor files.
Freq_files	Compressed archive files storing all 1272 DM files. Imported from freq*.zip files.
Headers	Header information about each beam with parameters of the observation including the galactic and equatorial coordinates. Imported from *.hdr files.
Histories	Processing history trace. Imported from *.hist files.
Pulses_files	Compressed archive files for pulses. Imported from Pulses*.zip
Pulses_plots	Pre-computed single giant pulse plots. Imported from Pulses*.gif
Pulses_plots7	Pre-computed 7 beam pulse plots. Imported from Pulses7*.gif
